Honoring Long-Serving Employees

Diepholz – The Diepholz company "P+S Polyurethan-Elastomere" on Kielweg has honored three long-serving employees. At a celebration, management and the works council acknowledged the achievements of the jubilarians and expressed their joy at being able to continue relying on their experience and commitment for mutual success in the future. "At a time when long-term employment is becoming increasingly rare, these anniversaries are a particularly valuable sign of solidarity, reliability and mutual trust," states a company announcement.

According to the company, Rainer Riemann began his work in May 1985 in the foaming production department. There he gained extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance and operational procedures. To meet the technical and organizational requirements of the company, he successfully completed advanced courses in plastics technology. These training courses laid the foundation for deeper knowledge in materials, processing methods and quality standards. "With the acquisition of new skills, Rainer Riemann moved to work preparation and production planning. There he assumed responsibility for production processes, resource planning, scheduling and the optimization of process chains." Rainer Riemann also serves as a contact person for external service providers in IT support and network administration. "His further training in this area led to comprehensive knowledge that significantly supports the company in times of technological transformation."

Wilhelm Hustermeier was also able to look back on his 40th work anniversary in July. He began his professional career in the goods receiving department at P+S. "Through his passion for precise work, his reliability and his willingness to take on responsibility, Wilhelm Hustermeier was gradually promoted to head foreman." His current role includes the intermediate and final inspection of the diverse products, a key position that combines quality standards, efficiency and on-time delivery. With four decades of industry experience, he knows every process step – from goods receiving inspection to ready-to-ship delivery – inside and out. "His role as a link between production, logistics and quality assurance makes him a valuable asset to the company," the statement says.

Torsten Spreen is also a long-standing valued employee who can point to 25 years with the company this year. Torsten Spreen began his professional journey at P+S in the foaming production department. "He made an important contribution to ensuring that the technically demanding parts were manufactured with the usual high precision," P+S states. Over the years, Torsten Spreen has taken on new challenges and moved to the order picking department. "There, he has since ensured with equal commitment that the products arrive at customers on time, complete and in the best quality. He is a valued colleague who is happy to pass on his knowledge and thus contributes to the success of the entire team."
