Company P + S shows new buffer at the Interlift
Significantly higher load range, stronger damping and low transverse deformation: A new generation of lift buffers were presented by the company P + S polyurethane elastomers, resident at the Kielweg at Diepholz, in Augsburg at the Inter lift - a leading trade fair for elevator technology .
Lift buffers have become some of the range of P + S, as reported by the company. They cushion the impact of load or passenger elevators, when limit switch or safety gear failure. New and improved materials will now offer greater protection for man and machine through the improved buffering properties.
Based on an experimental setup that simulates the load of touched down on the buffer, employees demonstrated the functionality of the buffer on the fair. With nearly 19 000 visitors there were as many prospects and potential customers. The development time of the TÜV certified according to European standard buffer was two years according to company disclosures.
Currently, the company invests in the expansion of corresponding production. - ks
